About
My Practice
I believe in individualising every patient's pregnancy journey. From normal to high risk, I encourage my patients and their families to be involved in the decision-making process. I endeavour to provide evidence-based guidance that ultimately allows informed choices to be made throughout the entire pregnancy and birth. My particular area of specialty is cervical insufficiency and preterm birth prevention. This includes insertion of both elective and rescue cervical cerclages, of which I have now performed approximately 500 procedures.
For patients hoping to conceive in the next twelve months, I provide comprehensive Pre-Pregnancy Counselling (PPC).
I also provide assessment and initial management of couples with infertility and subsequent management of women who have conceived using assisted reproductive technologies, such as IVF.
Education and Experience
I obtained my medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with first class honours, graduating as the second top student in my class. I received awards for the most outstanding performance in the areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, medicine, surgery and psychiatry. I completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, primarily based at The Royal Women's Hospital, at the beginning of 2018. In addition to my private practice, I also hold a public position as a Consultant Obstetrician at The Royal Women's Hospital.
