Launch of the Wig Salon at Epworth Eastern

Epworth Eastern has welcomed its first patient appointment to The Wig Salon, the beautiful Anna Vento of East Doncaster.

The Wig Salon is a FREE wig consultation service offered by trained volunteers and provides a supporting and friendly salon style environment for patients at the hospital receiving treatment for Cancer.

Patients receive a personalised product bag containing wig, silk scarf bamboo night cap, turban, hairnet, Organic Care baby shampoo and wig brush. 

Comprehensive Cancer Care

The Wig Salon is located at Epworth Eastern, at Box Hill, and is part of the hospital's wider Comprehensive Cancer Care offering.

Patients at Epworth Eastern receive their oncological treatment at the hospital's brand new state of the art day medical unit which also includes scalp cooling treatment and individualised cocoon warming blankets.
