About

Boniface Chan obtained his medical degree from Monash University in 1996. He completed his training in internal medicine, specialising in cardiology, and in 2005 was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. In 2006, Boni completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne, majoring in epidemiology and biostatistics. He has worked as a cardiology research fellow for the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Austin Health and provided clinical expert reports on applications to register new cardiovascular drugs to the TGA as part of the University of Melbourne Clinical Drug Evaluation Unit. Boni completed his subspecialty training in interventional cardiology at the Queen Elizabeth and Dalhousie University Health Sciences Center in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2008. His ongoing professional interests include cardiovascular outcomes-based research, cardiovascular diagnostic imaging and interventional cardiology.
