About
Dr Neela Janakiramanan is a reconstructive plastic surgeon with international training and specific expertise in complex hand and wrist surgery.
She is the Clinical Director of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at Eastern Health, an Examiner in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and sits on the Medical Advisory Committee at Epworth Eastern.
Dr Neela has specific interest and expertise in conditions affecting the hand and wrist. She routinely undertakes minimal access interventions including endoscopic (keyhole) carpal tunnel surgery, and arthroscopic and arthroscopic assisted (keyhole) surgery for conditions affecting the wrist, including ganglions, fractures, wrist pain, wrist ligament injuries and other conditions. She also has expertise in complex conditions and revisional surgery after trauma or previous surgery.
She is an experienced reconstructive plastic surgeon and enjoys seeing patients with general reconstructive plastic surgical issues, including skin cancer.
