Mr Andrew Byrne is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon who has completed interstate and overseas fellowships. He is actively involved within the medical community and has trained overseas fellows. He has also been chairman to overseas meetings and been involved in prosthetic development and surgical techniques for sports injuries and joint replacement, including robotic surgery. His particular expertise is in robotic assisted knee resurfacing and the direct anterior approach for total hip replacement.
