About
Mr Arvind Jain is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in adult hip and knee joint reconstructive and replacement surgery. He also has an interest in minimally invasive total hip replacement using direct anterior approach. His skills extend to sporting injuries of the hip and knee joint, as well as ACL reconstruction, multiligamentous knee reconstructions and hip arthroscopy.
Mr Jain works primarily at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne and Epworth Hospital, Richmond. He plays an integral role in providing pelvic and acetabular trauma services at The Alfred, and also represents orthopaedic unit for multidisciplinary care of patients with haemophilia needing hip and knee joint replacement.
He is an Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) training supervisor at The Alfred, responsible for training of future Australian orthopaedic surgeons. He is also the principal supervisor of Pelvic and Acetabulum Trauma Fellowship at the Alfred.
