Mr David Merenstein

Dr Merenstein is a practicing General Surgeon. As part of his professional work, Dr Merenstein is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of conditions affecting most areas of the body thereafter assessing suitable treatment and appropriate referral.

As an endocrine surgeon, Dr Merenstein has the specific expertise to comment on and assess surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid, missed malignancies due to untreated thyroid, and adrenal, endocrine, pancreas, carcinoid and other endocrine tumours.

And as a General Surgeon, Dr Merenstein has particular expertise in identifying the nature of early stage presentations arising from accidents or trauma.

He undertakes personal injury assessments for WorkCover and the legal fraternity. Being involved in an active surgical practice allows Dr Merenstein to appreciate and understand the nature of the injuries suffered by workers in the course of their employment, and the results of medical complications associated with treatment of patients.
