Epworth Paediatric services provide care for children with medical conditions, as well as those needing surgery.
Epworth Paediatric services are expertly delivered by paediatric nurses and doctors 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Appointments are available for consulting paediatricians at Epworth Richmond.

Our Find a Doctor directory allows you to contact an Epworth accredited specialist for your GP to refer you to.
A referral from your GP, a Specialist or other health professional is required to access most Epworth services and some can be called directly by the patient including our Allied Health Clinic, GP Clinic, Men’s Health Clinic and Jean Hailes at Epworth Freemasons as well as our Breast Services, Epworth Sports and Exercise Medicine Group and Epworth HealthCheck.

Our 19-bed children's ward is the largest private dedicated children's ward in Victoria, supported by experience paediatric nurses and doctors around the clock.
Young children from the age of 6 months through to teenagers can access an age-appropriate, purpose-built environment for their treatment. One parent may stay overnight with their child.
The children's ward caters for a wide range of paediatric conditions, including:
- Cuts
- Infections
- Respiratory illnesses
Supporting surgery, ranging from:
- Complex plastic surgery
- General surgery
- Glue ear
- Orthopaedic surgery
- Removal of wisdom teeth and other difficult tooth extractions
- Tonsils and adenoid removal
The children's ward features:
- Calming fish tank
- 'Chill-out' area for adolescents
- Games, toys, crafting and activities
- Parents kitchen
- Play areas for younger children
