This GP education webinar is hosted by Epworth Healthcare. Our speakers are based at Epworth Geelong. 

Topic 1: Osteoporosis in young adults

Dr Anna Anderson will discuss the risk factors for the development of osteoporosis before the age of 50 years, how to investigate these and when to consider treatment. 

Topic 2: Management of osteoporotic fractures 

Dr Liam Halliday will go on to discuss the orthopaedic management of osteoporotic fractures including different surgical techniques. Recognition of osteoporotic and atypical fractures in primary care.

The presentation will include the opportunity for panel Q&A.
