Dr Alireza (Ali) Fallah is currently working as a Medical Oncologist and Internal Medicine physician in a number of public and private Melbourne hospitals. As a medical oncologist he has particular interest in Gastrointestinal, Lung, Breast, Melanoma and Genitourinary cancers. He advocates for extensive cancer screening for at risk populations in order to diagnose the cancer at an early stage which is the key to having successful treatment. Dr Ali Fallah champions a multidisciplinary approach in his practice and collaborates closely with other specialists and an expert team of oncology dieticians, psycho-oncology team and palliative care specialists to provide the best possible care to cancer patients and support their families. He dedicates his practice towards excellence in outcome as well as compassion for his patients. Ali strongly believes in effective communication and education with his patients to empower them and their families in their care. Ali has been actively involved in various trials and research activities and published scientific papers, review articles, posters, abstracts and oral presentations in different scientific meetings. Ali has a great interest, and experience, in teaching and has been appointed as senior lecturer at Monash University.
