I graduated from Melbourne University and spent my initial years at University Hospital Geelong. I undertook my specialist training in Anaesthesia at St Vincent’s Hospital, the Royal Womens Hospital, the Royal Childrens' Hospital and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hosptial, Melbourne. After a brief period working in clinical anaesthesia as part of an exchange program at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, I took a position as a staff specialist in Anaesthesia at University Hospital Geelong for seven years during which I also acted as the supervisor of training for the Anaesthesia training program and published in the areas of quality and safety. In 2006 I entered private practice and estimate I've safely administered over 12,000 anaesthetics to the people of Geelong since then.
My interests include cycling and aviation. If you have any questions relating to your anaesthetic, please feel free to contact me via my rooms at Geelong Anaesthetic Group.
