Dr Daniel Peyton is a paediatrician, PhD candidate and health informatics trainee. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2009, a Master of Public Health in 2017 and was awarded his specialist fellowship in General Paediatrics in 2019.
He has a passion for digital health, child mental health, parenting and rigorously measuring outcomes. Dr Peyton’s special interests lie in user-centred design and using innovative digital methods to empower families to better understand and self-manage their health, with a focus on equity.
Having commenced his PhD in 2019, he is co-designing, developing and trialling an online parenting platform to link parents of children with behavioural and emotional problems to community services or evidence-based online interventions.
