David is a graduate of The University of Melbourne who has expertise in managing a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. He trained at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Alfred and completed a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at The Alfred in 2012. He has worked in Geelong as a consultant haematologist since 2013.
His special interests include acute myeloid leukaemia, allogeneic stem cell (bone marrow) transplantation and early-phase clinical trials. He is the lead investigator on a number of clinical trials in acute myeloid leukaemia at University Hospital Geelong.
