Dr Dinesh Natarajan is trained in all aspects of Cardiology and sub-specialises in Interventional Cardiology.
Dinesh obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Melbourne and completed his Cardiology training at the Austin Hospital, Western and Eastern Health. Following this, he was appointed the Yean L. Lim Interventional Fellow at Western Health, a high-volume percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) centre in Victoria. In 2016-2017, he was the Interventional Fellow in Valvular Heart Disease at St Thomas' Hospital, London a centre of excellence in transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and structural heart procedures under the supervision of world-renowned Professors Simon Redwood and Bernard Prendergast. This fellowship was supported by the prestigious Guy's and St. Thomas' Structural Intervention scholarship.
Dinesh has authored multiple publications and has presented at national and international conferences. In addition to an active role in the teaching of medical students and junior doctors, he has served on the faculties of international education meetings.
Dinesh currently holds public appointments at Eastern Health and Ballarat Health Services.
