About
Dr Georgia Cleary is a cornea specialist with a research interest in cataract surgery and intraocular lenses. She has completed two advanced fellowships in cornea and external eye diseases, at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and then the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne. During these fellowships she trained in corneal surgery including corneal transplantation, anterior segment surgery and complex cataract surgery. Her PhD thesis lies in cataract surgery and intraocular ocular lens design. She holds a consultant appointment at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital where she provides cornea, surgical ophthalmology and general ophthalmology services.
