I moved to Geelong in 2008 to start my medical degree at Deakin University’s newly opened medical school and since then I have completed my anaesthetics training at a variety of hospitals including University Hospital Geelong, The Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. In 2019 I completed a Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management at University Hospital Geelong which enables me to provide excellent pain-relieving nerve blocks for a variety of surgeries.
I appreciate that people embarking upon surgery and anaesthesia place significant trust and responsibility in their medical specialists and I always strive to provide my patients with compassionate, best-practice care. I also believe strongly in helping to educate the next generation of doctors and I hold an appointment with Deakin University’s Medical School as Clinical Senior Lecturer.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my young family, bike riding and seeing the mighty West Coast Eagles succeed! (My second team is the Geelong Cats).
If you have any questions relating to your anaesthetic, please feel free to contact me via my rooms at Geelong Anaesthetic Group.
