After completing an undergraduate medical degree at Melbourne University my association with Geelong began with an intern year at Geelong Hospital in 1998. After a few years working as a resident I left Geelong to take up specialty training in anaesthesia at the Alfred Hospital, completing this in 2006. My initial specialist work was at the Alfred and Royal Women’s Hospital but in 2008 an opportunity to return to Geelong arose, and I joined Geelong Anaesthetic Group. I currently work wholly in private practice, with broad interests including ENT, orthopaedics, urology, plastic surgery and endoscopy.
I am a member of ANZCA and the ASA, and participate in their professional development programs. I am involved in teaching medical students and nursing staff at both St John of God and Epworth Hospitals. When not working I try to keep up with my wife and three children while dreaming about my next surfing opportunity.
If you have any questions relating to your anaesthetic, please feel free to contact me via my rooms at Geelong Anaesthetic Group.
