About
Dr Ku is a clinical and laboratory haematologist with extensive experience in malignant haematology, particularly lymphomas and multiple myeloma. He also has experience in clotting and bleeding disorders. Dr Ku is currently the Lymphoma stream lead at St Vincent’s Hospital, as well as the Principal Investigator on multiple important international clinical trials. He is a member of the Australasian Lymphoma Alliance, the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group, and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr Ku's PhD focused on novel pathways in acute myeloid leukaemia. Subsequently, his postdoctoral Lymphoma/Myeloma Fellowship involved managing complex patients on clinical studies. Dr Ku has had multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. He has also presented at both national and international haematology conferences. In addition, he has an ongoing involvement with the Leukaemia Foundation as an invited speaker for the Lymphoma Teleconference Forums, which provide him with the privilege of educating patients living with lymphoma.
