Dr Michael Shembrey is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Geelong. Michael studied medicine at the University of Melbourne, and subsequently completed postgraduate specialist training at The Women's Hospital in Melbourne and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in the United Kingdom. Michael has practised as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist in Geelong since 1993. Michael is a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Geelong Hospital, and was the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Geelong Hospital between 2013-2019. Michael is a clinical senior lecturer at the Deakin University Medical School, a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a member of the Australian Medical Association.
