About
Dr Nathan Johns is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with a special interest in pain rehabilitation, general and neurological rehabilitation. He has been a Visiting Medical Officer at Epworth Brighton since 2006 and continues to manage inpatients with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. His focus is on treating people with persistent (chronic) pain which has been present for more than 3 months, as well as acute musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical pain and post-traumatic pain. This includes pain neuroscience education, medication management, exercise and cognitive strategies with the goals of reducing pain, improving function and improving quality of life.
