Dr Vaughan is a physician with an active interest in luminal gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis. She also routinely reviews, investigates and manages patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders including coeliac disease, irritable bowels diseases, colonic polyps and liver diseases. She welcomes referrals for diarrhoea, abdominal pain, PR bleeding and malabsorption including iron deficiency. Dr Vaughan is undertaking research (PhD) into the role of intestinal ultrasound in the noninvasive monitoring of inflammatory bowel disease.
