About
Mr Alex Yuen is a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon trained in all aspects of skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, body contouring, facial aesthetic surgery, scar management, and paediatric plastic surgery, with a special interest in breast aesthetic surgery and breast reconstruction. He completed his MBBS at the University of Melbourne in 2001. In 2008, he commenced Specialist Plastic Surgery training under the auspices of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Melbourne. During this period, he worked in a number of major Plastic Surgical Units including The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Children's Hospital, and The Peter MacCallum Centre Institute. After completing his surgical training, he underwent several observerships in various Asian countries including Singapore and South Korea. Alex also has many first author publications in international plastic surgery journals.
