About
Andrew Gong an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with fellowships in the UK and Canada. His interests are hip and knee replacement as well as trauma, sports Orthopaedic Surgery, including knee/shoulder arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction. He performs MAKO Robotic knee surgery, as well as minimally invasive hip replacements (anterior and posterior approaches) with the aim of rapid recovery post joint replacements. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Surgery Victoria group of surgeons.Andrew holds senior consultant positions at Austin Health and Monash Health with teaching roles for both the University of Melbourne and Monash University.He is also part of the executive of AO Trauma Australia (responsible for trauma teaching) and a member of the ADF Health Reserves (RAAF).
