Prof Silvana Marasco

Prof. Silvana Marasco is a cardiothoracic surgeon performing all adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. She specialises in minimally invasive techniques and total arterial revascularization. She is the Director of the Alfred Hospital Cardiothoracic and Transplant Unit, where she performs heart and lung transplants and implants mechanical heart assist devices.

Prof. Marasco has been awarded over $15 million in competitive research grants and has over 170 publications.
