Epworth Private Practice is an outpatient allied health clinic providing access to a range of services that support your physical and mental health and wellbeing.

You can book an appointment directly - without a referral. So, when life takes an unexpected turn, you don't have to compromise your health.

We provide:

• Dietetics
  Expert diet and nutrition advice to improve your health, manage a health condition or support your recovery.
• Hand therapy
  For when you’ve injured your hand or are managing a chronic condition including carpal tunnel syndrome.
• Physiotherapy
  Enhancing your strength, movement and physical function and treating conditions that include lower back pain, neck pain, joint problems and sports injuries.
• Psychology
  For support with your thinking, mood and general mental health.
• Speech pathology
  To address issues with communication, swallowing, or the senses of taste or smell. This includes specialised procedures such as videofluoroscopy and Australia’s first Olfactory Impairment Clinic.

Fees

Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to access your ancillary or extras cover to fund treatment through Epworth Private Practice.

Self-funded
You can also choose to self-fund and pay each appointment upfront.

Medicare-subsidised treatment
You may be eligible for Medicare-subsidised treatment using:

• 'Chronic Disease Management' scheme for allied health
• ‘Better Access to Mental Health Care’ scheme for psychology services.

These plans are coordinated with your GP. Speak to your GP to find out if these plans are suitable for you.
