For Clinicians

There are many opportunities to be involved with medical education through the Epworth Clinical School. These include clinical supervision in consulting rooms and procedural sessions, as well as bedside teaching and formal tutorials. There are also opportunities to supervise medical student research when students undertake their scholarly intensive projects (now part of University of Melbourne MD courses). The Universities are moving towards more work-based assessments, and we always have a need for assessors as part of this program.

Our Associate Deans work with the Dean of Medicine to support the development of clinical placement and formal teaching programs for all students.

Clinical Skills Coaches

Our clinical skills coaches work with a group of students throughout their first clinical year developing their history taking and examination skills in the clinical setting.
