Why join the Epworth Central Resource Unit (CRU)

The Central Resource Unit provides Epworth with an agile, sustainable and continuous supply of skilled nurses and midwives to fill rosters, through growth and development of our contingent nursing workforce.

Supporting our nurses to grow professionally is key to our vision. We have dedicated nurses who act as our Recruitment Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Educator and Nursing Site Partners; providing local support in the hospital environment to our casual bank and permanent pool staff.

Options for career development and education are available through our unique Academy for Nurses and Midwives. This includes options to undertake introductory courses in specialty practice, with scholarships available for further postgraduate study.

We use an electronic allocation platform to enable nurses and midwives to access shifts easily, with flexibility in hours and locations across our Epworth sites.
