About
A/Prof. Kean Soon is a Melbourne and Adelaide trained interventional cardiologist. He has a strong interest in complex coronary intervention and structural heart intervention such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and PFO/ASD closure. He previously undertook interventional cardiology fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital and structural interventional fellowship at Utrecht University Medical Centre in the Netherlands. A/Prof. Soon is also a locally and internationally recognised cardiac CT specialist. He graduated with a PhD degree from the University of Melbourne for his research in cardiac CT.A/Prof. Kean Soon provides efficient and effective cardiac treatment with a caring attitude. He has attracted many referrals through words of mouth from both his patients and colleagues. He speaks multiple languages and dialects including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay. He works at Epworth Richmond and Epworth Eastern Hospitals. He is also a consultant cardiologist at Box Hill Hospital.
