I provide a variety of anaesthesia for most general surgical specialties except cardiac surgery and very young paediatric patients; with a special interest in Orthopaedic, Obstetric and Gynaecology anaesthesia. I completed my undergraduate medical and postgraduate anaesthetic degree at Baghdad University. I moved to Geelong continuing my training and became a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA). Throughout my training I gained experience working in a variety of specialty fields at various hospitals including Western Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, Box Hill Hospital and The Geelong Hospital where I finished my obstetric anaesthetic fellowship year.
Outside of work my main interest is my young family of four children as well as playing basketball and history book reading.
If you have any questions relating to your anaesthetic, please feel free to contact me via my rooms at Geelong Anaesthetic Group.
