About
Michael Hii is an Oesophago Gastric and Bariatric surgeon. He is
passionate about clinical surgery and also surgical education and research. He is the current supervisor of junior surgical training and chair of the upper GI research group at St Vincent's Hospital and a senior lecturer and surgical lead at the University of Melbourne. He has published broadly in the upper GI and bariatric literature. Current research interests include physiologic changes following bariatric surgery, and the optimization of outcomes following oesophagectomy.
