Delivered using a blended learning environment, it aims to enhance your clinical assessment skills and progress your clinical decision making. This is a great program to aid career progression after your graduate year and to build confidence and understanding of complex patients and care. 

ENs in acute care 

Epworth runs a 6-day short course (over 8 weeks) for new and existing staff to enhance skills and knowledge in caring for patients in acute care.

To be eligible for this course you must have the following:

  • 1 year’s PG experience
  • Acute care experience as part of your training of no less than 4 weeks
  • Diploma of nursing qualification (Medication Endorsed)

ENs for ED 

The Education Team have devised a 6-day short course (run over 8 weeks) for new and existing staff who are interested in working in the Epworth Emergency Departments.

To be eligible for this course you must have the following:

  • Acute care experience of no less than 1 year
  • Diploma of nursing qualification (Medication Endorsed)

For all of our programs you will receive dedicated ward based support from our specialist educators and our very experienced staff. 

EN graduate support program 

Epworth is proud to take on a graduate support program for RNs, Registered Midwives and ENs. This opportunity is available across all Epworth sites and locations and you will receive extensive support in your early years from our dedicated education team.
