About
Associate Professor Anne Brooks works in private practice in East Melbourne and at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.She specialises in glaucoma, cataract and anterior segment, surgery for glaucoma, surgery for cataracts and laser surgery for glaucoma.She received an AM in 2021 for service to ophthalmology and eye health organisations and in 2019 was the first female to be awarded the College Medal of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.She is Head of Clinic 3 Special at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and teaches clinical ophthalmology to registrars, overseas medical graduates and medical students.
