Dr Luke Dunne

Dr Luke Dunne has been a medical practitioner for over twenty years. He is a graduate of The University of Sydney and completed his postgraduate general practice training in Melbourne and regional Victoria. On completion of his fellowship, he worked as a GP in Melbourne before joining the Royal Flying Doctor Service as a senior medical officer in the Northern Territory. With this experience, Luke was recruited as the inaugural clinical lead at a new private urgent care centre in Ireland. Upon his return to Australia over a decade ago, Luke joined Epworth Freemasons at the inception of the GP Clinic in East Melbourne. Luke has also served as a mentor for overseas trained doctors, a clinical tutor and examiner at The University of Melbourne, an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Epworth Freemasons Medical Advisory Committee. Luke is an experienced, caring and trusted GP who provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages from East Melbourne and its surrounds, the broader Melbourne metropolitan area and, indeed, rural Victoria. Luke has well-established professional relationships with specialists and diagnostic services within the Epworth network and beyond. He enjoys all facets of general practice, and has special interests in preventative health, including comprehensive check-ups, men's health, mental health and sexual health. He prescribes PrEP, provides Implanon insertion and removal, and performs minor surgery.
