About
Dr Ojas Mehta is a highly trained consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, he undertook his physician training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and subsequent cardiology training at Monash Health. He subspecialised in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology with a Fellowship at The Alfred and Monash Hospitals. Thereafter, he completed an overseas Fellowship at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, British Columbia, Canada where he trained with leaders in the field of cardiac pacing and arrhythmia.
Ojas brings with him novel approaches and procedural techniques to manage cardiac rhythm disorders. Within the realm of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), he performs conduction system pacing, offers cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT), and implants leadless and subcutaneous devices in addition to conventional pacemakers or defibrillators. For cardiac ablation, he treats complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He offers Radiofrequency and Cryoablation technologies with his procedures.
