About
Andrew Gong an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with fellowships from the UK and Canada. His interests are hip and knee replacement, as well as trauma and sports orthopaedic surgery, including knee/shoulder arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction. He performs robotic knee surgery, as well as minimally invasive hip replacements (anterior and posterior approaches) with the aim of rapid recovery post joint replacements.
Andrew holds senior consultant positions at Austin Health and Monash Health with teaching roles for both the University of Melbourne and Monash University. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Surgery Victoria group of surgeons. He is also part of the executive of AO Trauma Australia (responsible for trauma teaching) and a member of the ADF Health Reserves (RAAF).
