Mr Chiu Kang

Dr Chiu Kang is a General Surgeon who has expertise in bariatric (weight-loss) surgery and upper GI surgery. He got an interest in the management of diabetes through bariatric surgery and performs a range of primary bariatric procedures as well as revisional surgery.

Apart from being a clinician, Chiu dedicates his time to educating next generation doctors and surgeons. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Melbourne Medical School, and holds the position of HMO supervisor and Surgical Education Consultant at Northern Health.
