About
Harvinder Bedi is an internationally trained Melbourne orthopaedic surgeon. After completing a medical degree through the University of Melbourne in 1992, Harvinder underwent orthopaedic training in Victoria and, in 2002, was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Harvinder undertook a subspecialty fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, UK, under Mr Paul Cooke, past president of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Society (BOFAS). This included particular training in arthroscopy, forefoot surgery including the correction of bunions and lesser toe deformities, as well as reconstructive surgery for arthritis and following trauma. Harvinder also completed a Master of Public Health degree through Monash University, with a particular interest in injury prevention. Harvinder also has a special interest in Minimally Invasive Foot Surgery.
