About

Amy completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in 2008. She discovered her passion for women's health during her residency, when she was awarded the RANZCOG Medal in her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology examinations, and went on to complete 6 years of specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at The Royal Women's Hospital and Monash Health. She worked with the OGB team in 2018, then went on to undertake a 2year laparoscopic fellowship with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES), as well as completing a Master of Surgery in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery. Amy is committed to research and is currently leading a multicentre, surgical randomised controlled trial, for which she received a prestigious RANZCOG scholarship. Amy has an interest in heavy periods, fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis and colposcopy. She is passionate about supporting and empowering women at all stages of their life through providing individualised, evidence based, patient centred care. Amy moved back to the Geelong Surfcoast region in late 2020, and joined the OGB Surfcoast team.
