About
Chris completed fellowship experience within the field of interventional endoscopy including ERCP and capsule endoscopy, and then spent time working in South Eastern Melbourne, West Gippsland and Tasmania as a specialist in gastroenterology. Chris moved to Geelong to commence work in the field of Gastroenterology and general medicine.
Chris maintains a commitment to teaching others, and is a senior clinical lecturer at Deakin University, involved in young doctor education and training, and coordinator of the National education and training Initiative (NETI) in capsule endoscopy in Australia.
Chris passion is volunteer support for international education and training in Gastroenterology. He is a passionate volunteer of training in endoscopy in Suva, Fiji, and has annually assisted in training programs in Fiji and Solomon Islands from 2009. He is a member of the World Gastroenterology Organisation committee for Endoscopy training Centres and Australian and New Zealand Gastrointestinal International Training (ANZGITA) board.
