Our research network includes:
- 11 Clinical Institutes, each chaired by a leading specialist
- A direct affiliation with renowned US teaching hospital, Cleveland Clinic
- Collaborations with other public and not-for-profit private hospitals across Australia
- Partnerships with major Australian universities including The University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University and LaTrobe University

The Research Development and Governance Unit (RDGU) is here to support the conducting of high quality, effective and translatable research through the provision of support, guidance, governance and process improvement.
The RDGU can provide support and guidance in all aspects of the research to be conducted at Epworth, from research project design and statistical assistance, through to achieving ethical and institutional approvals in accordance with our Research Governance Framework.

Research misconduct
If you your complaint relates to an allegation of research misconduct at Epworth (defined as serious breach of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018 which is also intentional, reckless or negligent) please refer to the Epworth Research Misconduct SOP. All allegations of research misconduct will be managed in a timely and confidential manner.
